Today, February the 22nd marks a special moment in the Gregorian calendar which has been made all the more remarkable by falling on a Tuesday. Today all the digits of the date - 22 2 22 - are the same number, lending to the nickname #Twosday.
The numbers make a palindrome, which is a sequence of numbers, words of phrases which read the same left to right as they do right to left. It also creates an ambigram, where the sequence reads the same upside down.
Both a palindrome and ambigram date won't happen again until 2080. And another Twosday won't happen again for 200 years, until 2 22 2222. The excitement went to the next level a minutes ago, when I witnessed the digital clock reaching 22:22:22 on 22.2.22 which is what I 'witnessed' today. Said a small prayer too!
